Ingredients
- 1 lb potato
- 12 cup butter
- 2 chopped onions
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 12 quarts chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- heavy cream (optional)
- salt and pepper
Method
- Melt the butter in a large pot.
- Fry the bacon and onions in butter.
- Cook until onions are clear.
- Add potatoes to the pot.
- Cover with chicken broth.
- Add bay leaf.
- Boil until potatoes fal apart.
- Use an immersion blender in mistre until smooth.
- Add cream and salt and pepper to taste.
