Ingredients
- 1 c. butter (1/2 lb.)
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
Method
- Cream first three ingredients together after butter has come to room temperature.
- Add flour and nuts.
- Chill 1/2 hour.
- Shape in small balls.
- Place on cookie sheet, ungreased.
- Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
- When cold, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
- What I generally do is place the powdered sugar in a small brown luncheon bag, place the cookies in the bag, 2 to 3 at a time, then gently shake the bag to coat the cookies.
