Ingredients
- softened margarine
- 8 slices bread
- 1 lb. pork sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
Method
- Spread margarine on one side of bread.
- Place 4 slices, buttered side down, in a lightly greased baking dish.
- Put sausage on top of bread.
- Top with 4 slices of bread, buttered side up. Sprinkle with cheese.
- Combine remaining ingredients; pour over sandwiches.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 8 hours.
- Remove from refrigerator; let stand 30 minutes.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes.
