Ingredients
- 1 c. butter, room temperature
- 3/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 c. finely chopped nuts
- extra 10x sugar
Method
- Cream butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla.
- With a spoon, blend in flour.
- Add nuts; shape into 3/4-inch balls, rolling in palm of hand.
- Place 1/2-inch apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 300° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until cookies are creamy color.
- Remove to rack until just warm.
- Roll in a little confectioners sugar.
- Cool entirely and roll again in confectioners sugar.
- Makes 3 1/2 dozen. Store in tightly covered container.
