Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can tomato juice (16 oz.)
- 2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz.)
- 1 c. water
- 1 can Ro-Tel chopped tomatoes and chillies
- 1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large can English peas
- 1 can Shoe Peg corn
- 1 box "chili tomato" Hamburger Helper
Method
- Brown hamburger meat and onion.
- Drain.
- Add all remaining ingredients except Hamburger Helper.
- Simmer 20 minutes.
- Add macaroni and sauce mix from Hamburger Helper.
- Simmer 15 minutes. This is juicy when served first, but macaroni absorbs juice after standing.
