Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can tomato juice (16 oz.)
  • 2 cans tomato sauce (8 oz.)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 can Ro-Tel chopped tomatoes and chillies
  • 1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 large can English peas
  • 1 can Shoe Peg corn
  • 1 box "chili tomato" Hamburger Helper

Method

  • Brown hamburger meat and onion.
  • Drain.
  • Add all remaining ingredients except Hamburger Helper.
  • Simmer 20 minutes.
  • Add macaroni and sauce mix from Hamburger Helper.
  • Simmer 15 minutes. This is juicy when served first, but macaroni absorbs juice after standing.
