Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. coconut
  • chopped nuts
  • 1 German chocolate cake mix
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Method

  • Grease and flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Spread coconut and nuts to cover the bottom of pan.
  • Mix cake mix according to package directions.
  • Pour into pan.
  • Combine cream cheese and butter; mix well.
  • Add powdered sugar.
  • Place dollops of mixture onto cake mix.
  • Do not touch sides of pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
  • Needs no icing.
