Ingredients

  • Non-stick cooking spray
  • 1 onion, sliced Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
  • 500g beef mince Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09
  • 700ml jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 425g can red kidney beans, drained and washed
  • 1/2 cup KRAFT Easy Cheese Cream Cheese Spread
  • 1 cup grated KRAFT Tasty Cheese
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 375g fresh lasagne sheets
  • 85g packet corn chips, lightly crushed
  • 300g jar tomato salsa Safeway 1 lb For $1.29 thru 02/09

Method

  • Lightly spray a pan with oil and saute onion until translucent.
  • Add mince and cook until browned.
  • Add pasta sauce and beans, bring to boil and reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Gently heat cheese spread, cheese and milk until combined.
  • Spoon one-third of the meat onto the base of a 2.5 litre ovenproof baking dish.
  • Top with a layer of lasagne sheets then with one-third of the cheese spread sauce.
  • Repeat layering twice more.
  • Cover and bake at 180C for 20 minutes.
  • Top with corn chips and salsa, return to bake, uncovered, for a further 10 minutes.
