Ingredients
- 1 c. self-rising meal
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. cream-style corn
- 1/3 c. Crisco oil
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 hot peppers, finely chopped
- milk
Method
- Mix in order given.
- Add milk to thicken to consistency of regular corn bread.
- Bake in a greased pan until brown.
- Serve with Spanish tomato rice and fried beans.
