Ingredients

  • 1 lb of lean ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, diced fine
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder (season to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 lb macaroni

Method

  • saute ground beef and onions in a large skillet until beef is browned.
  • Add chopped pepper to the mixture and saute until pepper is softened.
  • Add tomato sauce, soup and tomato paste to the above mixture.
  • Blend in chili powder and garlic powder.
  • Simmer the above mixture for one hour or until thickened.
  • Prepare and drain pasta according to package instructions and place in large serving bowl.
  • Pour sauce mix over pasta and blend together.
