Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. firm packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt margarine over low heat for 1 minute.
- Remove and add brown sugar.
- Stir until smooth.
- Boil for 1 minute while stirring.
- Remove from heat.
- Add milk and return to boil for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Beat in sugar and vanilla.
- Spread over your favorite cake.
