- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 large egg (or 2 small)
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- fat or oil for frying
Method
- Remove all cartilage from crabmeat.
- In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise and seasonings.
- Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly.
- Shape into 6 to 8 cakes.
- Pan-fry in small amount hot oil (350°) until browned on both sides.
