Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat
  • 1 c. Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg (or 2 small)
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • fat or oil for frying

Method

  • Remove all cartilage from crabmeat.
  • In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, egg, mayonnaise and seasonings.
  • Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly.
  • Shape into 6 to 8 cakes.
  • Pan-fry in small amount hot oil (350°) until browned on both sides.
