Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. Log Cabin syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Mix flour and granulated sugar in bowl. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into bottom of greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Bake 15 minutes or until very lightly browned.
