Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk, scalded
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 egg yolks, beaten
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 or 2 unbaked pie shells (use 2 for thin pies)
Method
- Mix dry ingredients
- well.
- Pour in milk; add egg yolks and butter.
- Cook
- over
- heat until it begins to thicken.
- Add pineapple. Pour in pie shell(s) and bake.
