Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft Macaroni and Cheese dinner or 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Velveeta Shells and Cheese dinner
  • 2 1/4 c. hot water (use 1 1/2 c. for Velveeta Shells and Cheese dinner)
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 c. sour cream (use 1/3 c. for Velveeta Shells and Cheese dinner)

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Mix water and mustard in 1 1/2 quart casserole.
  • Whisk in cheese sauce from pouch.
  • Stir in dry pasta; cover with tight fitting lid.
  • Bake 30 minutes.
  • Uncover; stir in sour cream.
  • Continue baking, uncovered, 10 minutes.
  • Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
  • Makes 6 servings.
