Ingredients
- 1 c. macaroni
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. sharp grated cheese
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- While macaroni is cooking, thicken milk with cornstarch. Stir constantly to prevent scorching so it will not be lumpy.
- Melt cheese in sauce.
