- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 (7 oz.) cans clams, chopped or minced
- 15 to 18 crushed Ritz crackers
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream (optional)
Method
- Saute onion in butter or margarine until transparent.
- Remove from heat and add the clams, one of the cans drained, the other with its liquid.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes at 350°.
- Serve on seasoned crackers or rye bread thins.
