Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 (7 oz.) cans clams, chopped or minced
  • 15 to 18 crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream (optional)

Method

  • Saute onion in butter or margarine until transparent.
  • Remove from heat and add the clams, one of the cans drained, the other with its liquid.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes at 350°.
  • Serve on seasoned crackers or rye bread thins.
