Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 1/2 pound top round London broil beef, prepared by cutting top of meat with knife in crisscross 1/8 to 1/4 inches deep cuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 2 tbsp. dry or possibly fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 ounce. rye whiskey or possibly bourbon

Method

  • Put meat into a large oven pan.
  • Drop garlic into cuts of meat.
  • Place remaining ingredients into cuts.
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees; bake.
  • Place meat into oven and cook approximately 45 min.
  • Remove from oven and slice meat into 1/8 inch slices.
  • Serve.
  • Makes 4-6 servings.
