Ingredients
- 3 eggs, separated (use whites for meringue)
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3 scant Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 stick oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pie shell, baked
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
Method
- Mix egg yolks and sugar; add cocoa and flour, and mix well. Gradually add milk; mix thoroughly.
- Add butter and vanilla.
- Cook until thick.
- Pour into cooled pie shell and top with meringue. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden.
