Ingredients

  • 1 baked pie shell (your favorite recipe)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 3 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 5 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade

Method

  • Mix sugar, cornstarch and water together in saucepan and cook until thickened.
  • Add egg yolks and salt.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add butter and lemonade. Pour into baked pie shell and cool.
