Ingredients
- 1 lemon
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
Method
- Mix sugar and cornstarch; stir.
- Add lemon juice and egg yolks.
- Set aside.
- In a pan, boil water and grated lemon rind. Add butter and pinch of salt.
- Add the two together.
- Cook until thick.
