Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
  • 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix
  • 2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. drained mushrooms
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Cook noodles and drain, then stir in spaghetti sauce mix, tomato sauce, water and mushrooms.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Remove from heat and put in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Layer noodles, 1/3 meat, 1/2 cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Repeat with noodles, meat, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Last layer noodles.
  • Spread with meat mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, 35 to 45 minutes after hot and bubbly.
  • Let stand 5 minutes.
  • Bake at 350°.
