Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 2 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 lb. (4 c.) creamed cottage cheese
  • 3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Cook noodles according to package.
  • In large skillet, crumble beef and cook until slightly browned.
  • Add onions and cook until tender.
  • Drain off fat; add oregano, salt, garlic, parsley, water, tomato paste and tomato sauce.
  • Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Blend eggs and cottage cheese.
