Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can cherry pie filling or any fruit filling
Method
- Beat together sugar, oil and vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Pour half of the batter in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover with fruit pie filling. Pour remaining batter over filling. Bake at 325° for 35 to 45 minutes. Serve either hot or cold with Cool Whip or ice cream.
