- 1 lb. boneless lamb loin
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. dry sherry
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 2 slices fresh, peeled ginger root
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 Tbsp. water or chicken broth
- 1 c. drained, sliced bamboo shoots
- 6 scallions, cut into 2-inch sections
- 1 tsp. dark sesame oil
Method
- Cut meat against the grain into 2 inches long and 1/8-inch thick slices.
- Combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, sherry and sugar in a separate mixing bowl and set aside.
