Ingredients
- 3/4 c. corn syrup
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. peanut butter
- 4 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/3 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 1/2 c. icing sugar
- 2/3 c. cocoa
Method
- Cook corn syrup and sugar over medium heat until sugar dissolves and mixture bubbles.
- Remove from heat.
- Blend in peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated.
- Press mixture firmly into a buttered jelly roll pan (15 x 3/4-inch).
- Melt 1/3 cup butter with milk over low heat.
- Sift in icing sugar and cocoa.
- Blend thoroughly.
- Remove Rice Krispies from pan.
- Spread evenly with cocoa mixture. Starting at one end, roll up to form log.
- Wrap in greased wax paper.
- Refrigerate.
