Ingredients
- 1 large (27 oz.) can Silver Floss sauerkraut
- 1 can beer
- 1 c. cream sherry
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. Polish kielbasa, cut into 3-inch pieces or as desired
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 to 2 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan.
- Simmer on low heat for approximately 30 to 40 minutes for best flavor.
- Serve on 6-inch long rolls (not hot dog buns) with Polish or any other mustard and chopped onions, if desired.
