Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. grease (bacon)
- 1 1/2 c. rice (instant)
- 1 c. finely diced onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 small can tomato sauce or small chopped tomato
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. Pace picante sauce
- 2 c. water
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
Method
- Brown rice in grease.
- Add onion, bell peppers, picante sauce and water.
- Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
- Uncover; add seasonings and tomato sauce.
- Continue simmering until liquid is absorbed. "Ole."
