Ingredients
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. jelly
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. sugar
Method
- Combine salt, eggs and baking powder in bowl.
- Place over smaller bowl of hot water and beat with rotary eggbeater, gradually adding sugar until mixture becomes thick and lemon colored.
- Remove bowl from hot water.
- Fold in flour and vanilla. Pour in greased and floured pan.
- Bake at 400° for about 13 minutes.
- Turn out on cloth, spread with jelly and roll up.
