Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3 medium onions, diced
- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 8 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 2 (20 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
Method
- Pour oil into
- 14-inch Dutch oven and heat.
- Add onions and cook
- until
- clear.
- Add
- meat,
- bell
- pepper and celery; thoroughly brown. When
- done
- skim or drain off grease.
- Add tomato sauce
- and
- stir well.
- Cook for 15 minutes.
- Add beans and chili powder and allow to simmer for 45 minutes.
