Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian sausage (mild or hot or both) sliced diagonally
- 2 large peppers (1 red and 1 green), cut lengthwise in 1/2 inch strips
- 1 large or small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
Method
- Cook sausage in skillet until well browned on all sides.
- (A combination of mild and hot sausage makes an extra flavorful dish.)
- Pour off fat.
- Add peppers, onion and oregano; toss with sausage and cook another 8 minutes.
