Ingredients

  • 2 12 lbs round steaks, trimmed of fat
  • 13 cup flour
  • 18 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 12 cup chili sauce
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 13 cup stuffed olives, sliced

Method

  • Cut meat into bite size pieces.
  • Mix flour and pepper.
  • Dredge meat in flour and brown in oil in large skillet.
  • (May need to brown in batches).
  • Combine ingredients for sauce.
  • After all meat is brown, return to pan and pour sauce over meat.
  • Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
