Ingredients
- 4 lb. hen, stewed and cubed
- 2 c. shell macaroni, cooked
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 4 c. broth
- 4 c. bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. cream (optional)
Method
- Stew and cube chicken.
- Cook the macaroni.
- Cube Velveeta cheese.
- Save broth from chicken and thicken with flour.
- Mix this together and place in the bottom of casserole dish.
- Brown the crumbs and add cream; place on top of the casserole.
- Bake at 325° for 30 minutes in 8x11 or square pan.
- Serves 6-8.
