Ingredients
- peppers
- 2 gal. water
- 3 c. salt
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 grape leaf
- 1 bunch dill
Method
- Thoroughly wash peppers.
- Cut in small slices (circles).
- Put peppers in a brine made of 1 gallon water to 2 cups of salt. Weight to hold peppers under brine.
- Next day, drain well and pack peppers into sterilized jars.
- Make a pickling solution of 1 gallon water, 1 cup salt, 1 cup vinegar, 1 clove garlic, 1 grape leaf and dill bunch.
- Bring to boil.
- Pour over peppers to within 1/2-inch of top.
- Put on cap.
- Screw band firmly tight.
- Process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.
