Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. finely ground green pepper
  • 1/4 c. finely ground red chili pepper or jalapeno
  • 1 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
  • 6 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) bottle liquid pectin
  • Green food coloring (if desired)

Method

  • Combine peppers, vinegar, and sugar.
  • Bring to a rolling boil, and then add liquid pectin.
  • Bring back to boil; let boil three to four minutes longer.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring for color desired. Take off heat; continue to stir for several minutes longer.
  • Seal in pint size sterile jars.
