Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 sq. chocolate
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Boil sugar and water for 2 minutes.
- Add salt and cornstarch, dissolved in a little cold water.
- Boil and stir until clear and smooth.
- Melt chocolate in a little hot water; add to syrup.
- Cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add vanilla.
- Serve hot.
