Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chiles, chopped
  • paprika to taste

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • Drain artichoke hearts and mash well with a fork.
  • Do not use blender.
  • Add mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
  • Mix together and spread into a baking dish large enough to spread the mixture to about 1/2-inch thick. Sprinkle top with paprika and bake at 350° for about 30 minutes. Serve with crackers of any variety.
  • Makes 2 cups.
