Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 28 ounces diced tomatoes, canned is fine
  • 1/3 cup goat cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Boil the pasta in a pot of salted water.
  • In a sauce pot, heat the tomatoes. With the heat on, stir in the cheese until it melts.
  • Add the garlic and sage to the tomatoes and cheese, and toss the pasta in the sauce.
  • Just before serving, add in the walnuts.Salt and pepper to taste.
