Ingredients
- 1/2 c. honey or light corn syrup
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
- 4 c. corn flakes
- 1/2 c. salted peanuts (if desired)
Method
- Butter square pan (8 x 8 x 2).
- Heat honey and sugar just to boiling in a 3-quart pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
- Stir in peanut butter.
- Fold in cereal and peanuts.
- Press firmly in pan.
- Let stand at least 1 hour.
- Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares.
- Store loosely covered at room temperature.
