Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup or 1/2 c. honey
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Method

  • Cream the butter and sugar in a small bowl.
  • Blend honey or syrup and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, cocoa and salt.
  • Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes until brownies pull away from sides of pan.
