Ingredients
- 6 chopped onions
- 1 bunch chopped celery
- 8 qt. chopped tomatoes
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. canning salt
- 1 c. butter
- 1 c. flour
Method
- Put into kettle chopped onions, chopped celery and chopped tomatoes.
- Cook until ready to put through food mill or sieve.
- To the pulp, add sugar and canning salt.
- Cream butter and flour until well blended.
- Add to boiling pulp and stir.
- Cook until thick.
- Put into canning jars, seal and process for 20 minutes.
