Ingredients
- 2 lb. hamburger meat
- 3 (15 oz.) cans hot chili beans
- 2 medium onions
- 2 pkg. chili seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. hot chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 (15 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
- salt, black pepper and red pepper to taste
Method
- Brown hamburger meat in skillet. When meat is done, place in a colander and run hot water over it to remove excess fat. Make sure it is well done. Add all ingredients together in a large pot or slow cooker. Cook until onions are tender. The chili is done at this time but will taste better if it's allowed to slow cook for about 3 hours. Stir occasionally to make sure all seasoning is well blended.
