- 2 cans (14 1/2 oz. each) tomatoes, peeled and cut up
- 1 can (7 oz.) green chilies, diced
- 4 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 sprigs cilantro
- dash of hot red pepper sauce to taste
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
- dash of sugar
- salt to taste
Method
- In a small bowl, mix all ingredients, mashing tomatoes. Cover.
- Refrigerate at least 3 hours to allow flavor to mellow.
