- 3 c. hot mashed potatoes
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 can Durkee French fried onions
- 1 1/2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Mix potatoes, half of cheese and 1/2 of onion.
- Spoon into greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
- Spread across bottom and up sides to form a shell.
- In a bowl, combine chicken, vegetables, soup, milk and seasonings.
- Pour into potato shell and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
- Top with remaining cheese and onion; bake until golden brown.
