- 3 lbs extra lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 c rolled oats
- 1/2 c onion, minced
- 1 t salt (optional)
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 c egg substitute
- 2 c low-fat pasta sauce (choose your favorite - mushroom or other)
- 1/2 c fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 small can mushroom pieces
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Coat two 8 1/2 X 4 1/2 loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
- Mix ingredients in a large bowl, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta sauce.
- Form loaves in pans and brush with reserved sauce.
- Bake for 1 hour.
