Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. crushed cranberries
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange jello
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 orange, sectioned and diced
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Method

  • Combine cranberries and sugar and set aside.
  • Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water.
  • Add cold water, lemon juice, cinnamon and allspice.
  • Chill until thickened.
  • Fold in cranberries, nuts and orange.
  • Put in a mold.
  • Chill 4 hours.
  • To unmold, place in hot water for a few seconds.
  • Shake slightly.
  • Place on chilled platter.
