- 3 to 5 lb. brisket, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. garlic granules
- 1 tsp. onion salt
Method
- Line baking pan with foil.
- Place brisket in pan.
- Mix remaining ingredients to make a marinade and pour over brisket. Fold foil up to seal and refrigerate and let stand overnight.
- Do not reopen. Bake for 5 hours at 300°.
- Finished brisket will be tender to a fork and melt in your mouth delicious.
