Ingredients

  • 3 to 5 lb. brisket, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic granules
  • 1 tsp. onion salt

Method

  • Line baking pan with foil.
  • Place brisket in pan.
  • Mix remaining ingredients to make a marinade and pour over brisket. Fold foil up to seal and refrigerate and let stand overnight.
  • Do not reopen. Bake for 5 hours at 300°.
  • Finished brisket will be tender to a fork and melt in your mouth delicious.
