Ingredients
- 2/3 c. butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 lb. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Melt butter or margarine in saucepan over low heat.
- Blend in brown sugar.
- Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk; cook until mixture comes to a boil. Gradually add confectioners sugar and vanilla.
- Beat until of spreading consistency. Thin with milk, if necessary.
