- 2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 c. melted butter
- 1 c. cornflake crumbs
Method
- Bake 50 minutes at 350°, uncovered, in 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Can be made a day ahead and baked the next day.
- Just add topping prior to baking.
- Also great to freeze and to heat in microwave.
