Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. beef, sliced thin (flank steak)
- 2 green peppers, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco, oil
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 large onion, sliced
Method
- Brown onion, peppers and tomato.
- Put aside.
- Brown meat; stir in 2 cups water and soup mix; simmer 30 minutes.
- Add onion, peppers and tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes; thicken with cornstarch.
- Serve over rice.
