Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
Method
- Mix together all ingredients and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add a pint of home-canned beets or a can of beets to the sauce.
- Let stand for 1/2 hour or more.
- Reheat before serving.
